1. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
PreStocks collects information necessary to deliver secure, compliant unlisted equity transactions:
- Personal Identifiers: Full name, email address, mobile number, date of birth, residential address.
- Regulatory & KYC Documents: PAN card details, Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification tokens, Client Master Report (CML) demat proof, cancelled cheque / bank account details for escrow payouts.
- Device & Usage Data: IP address, device fingerprints, browser session logs, and login timestamps for security and fraud prevention.
2. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
- Identity Verification: Validating PAN and Demat credentials to prevent identity theft and comply with anti-money laundering regulations.
- Transaction Settlement: Coordinating share transfer instructions with depository participants.
- Invoicing & Taxation: Generating compliant GST invoices and trade confirmations.
- Security & Alerts: Sending real-time SMS, WhatsApp, and email alerts regarding order statuses, OTP verifications, and market news.
3. DATA SECURITY & STORAGE
- All sensitive investor records and KYC documents are encrypted using enterprise-grade AES-256 encryption at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
- We maintain strict role-based access controls (RBAC) ensuring only authorized compliance officers can inspect KYC records.
4. DISCLOSURE OF INFORMATION
- PreStocks DOES NOT sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial information to third-party advertisers or lead-generation brokers.
- Information is shared strictly with regulatory authorities (e.g. SEBI, FIU-IND, Tax Department) if required by law, or with escrow banking partners solely for transaction execution.
5. COOKIES & TRACKING
We use necessary session cookies to maintain your login state, remember your preferences, and protect against Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF).
